David Hartman: Challenges facing Modern Jewry in Israel and the Diaspora (Pomrenze 6)

David Hartman: Challenges facing Modern Jewry in Israel and the Diaspora (Pomrenze 6) – Sixth and final lecture in Pomrenze Winter 2009 lecture series, in which Rabbi Prof. David Hartman, Shalom Hartman Institute, Jerusalem, Israel, talked about the philosophy of Eliezer Berkovits, and how he struggled with halakha that wasn’t good for women, among many other things. This has been an amazing series whose findings will be collected for a book; but video viewers will have the information first. Challenging thinking for Jewish thinkers, Jewish philosophers, Jewish Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and secular Jews.
